Is there an IPOD connection inside the arm rest?

yes there is, and the ipod hooks up fine, tho the only radio control i have is volume. i cant navigate through it using my factory radio. and as ive been reading, is it correct they are only " satelite radio ready" meaning buy the sat kit like anyother car, and just offers radio controls for the stock head unit? seems annoying to push sat. radio and ipod features, if you still have to install best buy aftermarket kits to use them.

Satellite ready usually means you have to buy another module for the H/U.
