Default 94 Mach 460 same as 01?

Going to be puttin a new head unit in my 94. I was looking at the the sticky above 'Mach 460 Swap Step-by Step w/parts' it talks about mostly 2000 and up systems. Would that work for my 1994 model?

When I installed my new headunit and speakers in my 95 cobra i actually just pulled all the factory wiring and amps and ran speaker cable directly from each speaker to the harness on the back of the headunit.

Don't most aftermarket head units only have wires for four speakers, 2 rear and 2 front? The mach 460 has like 6 or 10 speakers I dont know for sure. How would you wire it up then?

I just wired my tweeters into the speakers from the doors and the ones for the rear deck into the rear speakers
