I have some questions about my shaker 1000 unit, regarding installation of an aftermarket HU.

I have browsed around and i cannot find an answer to my questions, and it doesnt seem like anyone in this forum can answer them either.

So i called ford to ask about technical support. After talking to them for a long time they tell me they do not really have any audio technical support. The dealerships are supposed to take care of this. So i called some of the closest ford dealerships, but they tell me that they hire in outside resources when it comes to the actual wiring of the audio units. They advised me to call crutchfield or kenwood (because it is a kenwood HU i am about to install) to ask them. Crutchfield does not want to help you unless you ordederd the product from them, which makes sense. Kenwood only answered the questions about their unit, of course. And were not able to answer the questions i had about the shaker 1000.

so does anyone of you know about some kind of shaker 1000 technical support? Or someone i can call about the wiring in my unit? Or who actually produces the shaker 1000, because ford could not even answer who is producing the audio systems they are putting in their cars (doesnt make sense??).

Take a look at the wiring diagrams above in the "sticky" area. The diagram for the shakers are there.

I have, but the problem is that it does not match the wiring in my car.
