Default 2006 Coupe Speaker HELP!

ok so i went to crutchfield.com and they told me all
about my car. it says that my rear deck as well as
my door panels are 6x8 speakers. But for speakers
the rear deck and front door speakers arent the same.
Does anyone know why this might be? id like to stick
to the same company, preferably the Kicker KS680...
please let me know

Welcome to AFM! Try in the audio and alarm section also. In my case, I have 5x7's in both the door and rear deck-Polk db571, all 4 are the same speaker and fit great with no problems. I think most 5x7's will fit in a 6x8 hole, they should say (5x7/6x8). I've also found out reading this forum that some speakers Crutchfield says won't fit(in the front door at least), actually will. Hope this helps! I'm sure you will get plenty of feedback here that will prob. be more helpful!

Crutchfield isn't always right, I have the same size speakers in the door and rear deck. I just had to break the tabs off to fit in the doors. 6X8 5X7.

Wish I would have known that sooner myself. I was going to get the kappa's like yours when I first started looking, but switched when they said they wouldn't fit in the front. Found out the following week, through this forum, that they fit fine. They had a crazy sale on them too! In the end, the polks did good after I added the amp though

So 6x8's will fit in both rear deck and doors?
