Any help appreciated on replacing the rear speakers of a 2007 Mustang Coup. Mainly how to remove the rear deck cover? And where can I buy the 6x8's? Thanks

I looked from inside the trunk. The rear speakers lay in the opening from the top. The bolts have red "nuts" holding the speakers in the opening but the speaker has to be removed from the top.

Get pioneers 4way 28ow on ebay they're cheaper in there they should clear and crispy...

Nope, they are attached from above. And it's going to be a royal pain to replace them. Starting with the 07's Ford decided to put carpeting on top of them which means you have some disassembly work to do. The 05-06's where pie to replace since they had pop off speaker grills. http://www.allfordmustangs.com/forum...ml#post1083452

Do yourself a favor and buys some good speakers for the back so you don't have to repeat this.
Try Crutchfield.com. They come with installation instructions. That is where I got mine. I bought the Infinity Kappa 682.7CF's.
