Default 2004 Mustang V6-Alarm problem? Need help

Hey guys i have a problem. I have a 2004 v6 mustang that my uncle left me we he passed. i got the car about 2 months ago it did not have a keypad like the keyless lock and stuff. But now every time i open the door the horns start blaring. Now my battery is dead but i put a different battery in it and it still does it it has never done it before.just started to day. but if you guys couldgive me some ideas i would apreciate it alot.

sounds like you have an aftermarket alarm because the factory one would disarm when you use the key in the door or in the ign. with the battery disconnected, lay on your back and look directly up under the dash under the steering wheel....most alarm installers arent very good and they dont hide the alarm brain well. you will probably be able to see a black alarm box....just unplug it or remove the fuses. (they will probably have a 15 amp and/or a 10 amp fuse). try that out and hopefully that will solve the alarm issue.

Ok i went out and put the original battery back in and it was still close to dead. the hor started to go bonkers again but this time i hooked it up to my truck and let it sit to get the battery ready to start up. i turned the ignition and it started to honk i tried one more time it honked and then started up. i will have to see what it does today and ill check for the aftermarket alam. and post back

yeah, im almost positive you have an aftermarket style alarm in there. the factory ford one does not do that.
