Does anyone know what i need to do to make my fone work thru the stereo? i am about to buy a new AT&T fone, and want it to work with the fone button on the head unit. Thanks in advance. Peace

That phone button is nothing more than a stereo mute.

There isn't a phone connect. Maybe you're thinking of the auxiliary input jack? (i.e for iPod)

The phone button on our stereos (in the Mustang) is of no use. That same stereo with the Sync system in other models from Ford makes use of the phone button. The Fusion I drove while my Mustang was being worked made use of it. Nice convenience. I wish it had been an option in the Mustang, especially with a manual tranny.

I guess the mfgr figures if you're driving as sports car you don't need or want to be on your phone.
