I want to replace the 5"x7" and I dont want to buy anything but different ones. As a matter of fact, this is what I want to get JL Audio C2-570x Car Speakers. I am wondering if i can do this without having to buy anything else. I have the orginal system in my car. Can someone help me out?

Maybe I need to clarify. I have the original Mach 460 system in my car. I want to replace all 4 (5" x 7"'s) in my car. I am wanting to know if the speakers i want to get will work by just hooking them up to system or if I would have to buy new wiring kit, new amps, or anything like that?

Check the impedance on your stock speakers. If they are 4 ohm, you will have no trouble since the ones you have selected are also 4 ohm. If the stock ones are 2 ohm. You will loose some power with these. Other than that, you should be fine.

How do you check to see if they are 4ohm??

It should have it written on the speaker. Or if the model number is written on the speaker, you can google it. If all else fails, an ohm meter. (DVM)
