Question Running Wire From Trunk to Hood

Alright so it isn't necessarily audio but I can see it being related to installing a sub.

So I have my kenne bell boost a pump (without a adjustable controller) and I have to run the vacuum switch wires from my unit in the trunk to my hood. I know how to get the wires through the firewall (had to manage that with my boost and fuel pressure gauges) but I'm not sure how I'm going to get the wire from the trunk to the pedal area.

Do I just cut a hole in the carpet and try to fish it through or is there an easier way?

Thanks

Next summer looking to go with:
Bilstien shocks + struts, Lowering springs (brand still TBD (any suggestions?)), MM CC plates, front + rear sway bars, subframes, and upper and lower control arms.
Time to make the pony ride some rails

when I ran the antenna wire for my XM radio (the antenna was mounted on the trunk lid) from the trunk to the dash, I took the passenger seat out and the rear seat bottom and top out. Then I just handed it from section to section from one hand to the other.

also, a rigid tape measure makes for a good wire fish.

alright so i figured it out. i ran it on my drivers side under the plastic kick panel. is slid under there rather effortlessly and is protected so it wont get squished. i then fed it through the grommet in the firewall that i have for my boost vacuum line and fuel pressure wires.
