1991 mustang LX has no right side output. I just bought the car, and would like to know how to get unit out,and find sterio wiring diagram,and information on speaker system. The car is all original,and I want to try and keep it that way. But I am going to try and upgrade to a CD player, if I can find factory head unit. Then try and put a larger amplifier if I can find the low output wire locations for head unit.

as far as taking it out, when you pick out your new stereo, you will need a dash kit. Inside the dash kit will be screw by screw instructions to help you remove and install your new head unit. Thanks alot for the link, but it doesnt show anything about the premium sterio system! My mustang has 6 speakers,and also has an amp. behiend the head unit. Like I said the right side is out,and I am wondering if it is the amp. that has a bad channel,or the sterio itself! It appears that everything runs through it first, but without the proper wiring diagram theres no telling
