Default Subwoofer install

This weekend's project for my convertible is building a custom subwoofer box in the spare tire well in the trunk with 2 Kenwood 10 inches and a Quantum Audio Cozmik QCA2000D amp. All connected to the factory radio using a Scosche line output converter. Everything worked like a charm when I played my cd's. I switched to AUX to play my Sirius radio but when I turned it up, I lost power to the radio. I checked the radio fuse by the passenger kick panel but the fuse looks good. Any suggestions on solving my power issue?

Try checking the under-hood fuse box. I think there's a fuse for the radio/acc in there.

Also, as a matter of personal opinion, I would have spliced my RCA's into the subwoofer + and - leads from the Shaker 500 door subs. Then you don't lose any power to the rear speakers and you get a clean signal for your subs. Its cheaper than a line out converter too.
