Default Pwiam need cd player help

Hi,

i have a 2002 mustang gt. My 6 cd changer says cd error, loaded 2 cd's. Now the player door is stuck open and i can't do anything with it. I keep on pushing eject and load cd. Keep on getting cd error. Disconnected battery for half an hour and still the same. Please help

Well, that sort of thing happens sometimes, and if pulling the battery doesn't clear it, its probable that only removing the head unit will do the trick, and it might require repair/replacement.

Will either CD that shows up as loaded play?

No, the ones in there wont play. I only have 2 in there, but when i push load cd it tells me all the slots are full.

How do do you remove the head unit, can't even figure out how to remove the face plate.
