Being a Rookie, I need some advice and help. My '05 V-6 has the Shaker 500 stereo and what I have read about it is true, skipping on cd's and slow about changing. I have found a Shaker 500 on e-bay out of an '07 V-6, which I have read that Ford corrected the skipping problem. Will this unit fit my '05 without any problems, plus is there instructions on how to remove/install this unit.

This should help with the installation. It's pretty easy. The only thing I believe is different is that the 05-06's did not have the aux audio input feature. So that would be a plus for you.
