My 2004 Mustang has the stock radio it says "MACH MP3" on it, and can play one (single) MP3 cd which I like but ever since I purchased the car I've noticed other like model Fords with simalar radios have more base to them. I have a 2001 Mustang V6 with a smaller size factory radio and the bass sounds great in it with four factory speakers. I tried taking the amp out of the 01 thinking it would fit on my 04 but the harnesses are different. Plus on the back of my stock radio in the 04 it has a cavity with no pins that says "AMP" and it also doesn't have the amp either in the center of the floor like the 01 does? I've already replaced all four of my factory speakers with Pioneers, what else can I do to get the bass to work better I mean there is VERY little difference from when I turn it all the way up to when I turn it all the way down. I'm seriously thinking of getting a convertor box, amp and set of subs for the rear I'm tired of the radio sounding like crap!
