Again, you are wrong. Infinity Kappas have the harshest tweeters on the market. They are marginally better than stock off of radio power, but as soon as you amplify them, they become super bright and harsh. IMHO, the Infinity Kappas that were recommended by members on this very forum were the WORST investment I have made to date with regards to audio equipment!

ETA: Unless one has rear seat passengers, all the 6x8s in the rear will do is screw up your stage from the front seats. Do you turn your back to the stage at a concert to get the full effects of it? If not, then rear-fill is a bad idea unless "loud" is your goal. In the case of Infinity Kappas, it is a really BAD idea because now you have FOUR ultra harsh tweeters to contend with. I pulled my rear kappas two weeks ago, and the doors are next!

Another option would be to make baffles and install some 6.5" woofers in the doors, which is the route I am in the process of taking. Believe it or not, the Pioneer Slim mount 8'' subwoofers are a much better option than the JL Audio 8s which will require a lot of modification to fit in the stock door pods!
How do you add the subs to the stock head unit, i am going to try it

No point in recreating the wheel: 2006 Mustang V6 Subwoofer Project: Shaker 1100

Or to give you a better idea, attached is the wiring diagram for each amp input.

I forgot to mention, the above will only work with a Shaker 500 head unit.

If you just have the base radio, at a minimum you are going to need a line output converter (like these: Universal Line Output Converters). To make life easier, I recommend tapping off of the rear speakers.

Kicker Audio Kit - Shaker: Audio Electronics &amp Kits - Shelby Performance Parts LLC.

The reasons I think it is the best:
Ease of installation, plug and play, no cutting.
You can keep your Shaker 500 head unit.
Bang for the buck. $1400, remember time is money
Out performs shaker 1000 hands down and 1/2 the weight.

Ask anyone who has one.
Anyone know if this will work in the 2010 V6 coupe with navigation system? And is it worth the money?
