I realize this subject has been posted to death -- but I could use some help on upgrading my Shaker 500 to a 1000. I want to keep my '05 Mustang GT CV all Ford and not use an aftermarket system.

I have a Shaker 1000 head unit with the plugs from the wiring harness that were cut off. I have the Shaker 1000 trunk subwoofer, 4 amps and the harness that plugs all 4 of the amps together. The harness has a large plug on the end that would plug into the car's wiring harness -- but I don't have the Shaker 1000 harness in my car.

What I need to know is what is the best way to put it all together and make it work? I've read most of the posts here on the subject, downloaded and printed out schematics, etc. but still don't know how to get it done. Example: where do I find the other plug that fits the trunk subwoofer wiring harness, then where do I find out what those wires need to hooked up to?

Also, does the Shaker 500 radio harness have the extra plugs that are on the Shaker 1000 radio?

Any help that could be given would me most appreciated -- I'm stuck!
