Default Taking to college next year and need an alarm

Hey guys, in about a month I am going back out to school to Western Michigan university and I am taking my stang with. She will be parked outside of my building but I would really like to get a alarm system put in so that no one decides to **** up my car one night or better yet steal it. I am not looking for a little clicker that won't do **** I am looking for a really good one because if I am to invest in one I am not going half way. thanks.

Look into a Viper 600esp or 800esp. Both are really great alarms and they both have a lifetime nationwide warranty. I've sold and installed Viper alarms for about 15 years and they have been one of the best I've ever delt with.

what about the 790 XV. it looks like it could let me know what is going on even if I am outside of the hearing range....

the 790 xv is a pretty nice alarm system, my store has put several of these on cars and they have all performed very well. That would not be a bad product either. Keep in mind that you will need a PATS bypass module to work with your car, they usually retail around 50 buck or so.
