Thought i should post this up for some of you stereo enthusiast. bought a tc9 motor and 18" basket for $70 ordered the parts which where $150 shipped and made myself a little subwoofer. i had intentions of using this sub for home theater but my buddy insisted on buying it.
i got a little sloppy on the dustcap with the glue. hands where a little shaky.
if you ever have a blown subwoofer try to see if this place

they can recone them for you. good thing about reconing a sub is you can make it to fit your needs and wants.

pic 8-smearing the glue on the dustcap to glue down

pic 10-finished but the glue wasn't fully cured. it looks a lot better in person
