Default Reconing a subwoofer

Thought i should post this up for some of you stereo enthusiast. bought a tc9 motor and 18" basket for $70 ordered the parts which where $150 shipped and made myself a little subwoofer. i had intentions of using this sub for home theater but my buddy insisted on buying it.

i got a little sloppy on the dustcap with the glue. hands where a little shaky.

if you ever have a blown subwoofer try to see if this place

they can recone them for you. good thing about reconing a sub is you can make it to fit your needs and wants.

pic 1-basket and motor bolted
pic 2-showing the sexy coil
pic 3-sanding the spider and surround landing down
pic 4-its all sanded down
pic 5-everything glued and clamped down. shims in the gap
pic 6-another angle
pic 7-spiders clamped down
pic 8-smearing the glue on the dustcap to glue down
pic 9-weighing the dustcap down in place
pic 10-finished but the glue wasn't fully cured. it looks a lot better in person

here is a little video of the sub off of 100rms iirc maybe a little more
