As long as your car is running while the amp are powered up you will be goo if you set in your car listening to music for long periods of time without the engine running your battery will die extremly fast.

yea i already dont do that shifter. and i had to remove my fusebox and im running stright from battery to amp i figure the 40amp car fuses on the amp would be cheaper than the 80amp battery one. but thanks i was worried about it. will i have to ground it to a different ground??? or can i ground to the same ground also

Ground them to the closest metal ground to the amps. The shorter the better. They should be seperate.

yeah the fuse acts as a median during a powerr surge to protect my amp and electrical system. i just took it out because i blew it and the things are expensive to replace. its not a standard fuse you can buy at any kragen or best buy

When I installed my I grounde d them together because I was recommended by two different electronix places it makes less wires therfore less interference. you get the same thing to power two amps another distrubution block.

yes i know this i do a lot of installs you need the fuse though. id go get one.
