Smile 2007 Mustang V6 Aftermarket Subwoofer Questions

Hey guys, i have a couple of questions about installing a subwoofer into my 2007 v6 coupe.

Heres a link to the sub:
Fusion - 12" Single-Voice-Coil 4-Ohm Subwoofer with 450W Amplifier - RE-PK1120

It's a pretty good deal but really my only question is can i install it into my car without purchasing an aftermarket deck? because i like the stock deck.

I have been told that I may need some sort of adapter but im not too sure. If it is possible, i would like to know how to do it. Also some instructions on the basics of the install would be great with the car's specs in mind.

Thanks for the help!

Yes, you may need a Line Output Converter aka a LOC. The easiest way would be to tap into your rear deck speakers to wire the LOC in.

Then again, I didn't read up on the specs of the amplifier. If it has High Level or speaker level inputs, you won't need the LOC.

Alright Thanks.

If i was going to have geek squad install it, do you think I would have to buy that piece as well, or would it come with the install?

They would probably tell you that you need it and ask you if you want to buy it or they will just install it and add it to your bill. That would be my two guesses.
