Where to mount a bazooka bass tube...

What's happening!!! I installed a bazooka tube in my 93 convertible but i'm not sure where to mount it. Where is the best place to do so? I was thinking right above the spare tire well (on the space between the tire and top pump). Afraid i'll puncture the gas tank...

Post pix when you're done, I've got the same car and a bazooka tube will be in soon...
