Default Installation of Aftermarket Amp

I am wanting to install an aftermarket amp in my 94 gt 5.0 to run two 10's but if I hook up the aftermarket amp the factory amp overides it. If I need a high/low converter how do I install it? Can someone please help me out

That how-to seems to be really helpful, and great timing. Thanks for showing the link.

The how-to worked great for me and now I have the system set and it sounds good.
