I have been looking at a number of iPod adaptors for the Shaker 500 in my 2005 model ie. PIE; PAC, Brand motion; Blitzsafe etc....

I am looking for something that will allow me to control the iPod functions through the HU or the device & keep the iPod charged while hidden in the center console. I have read some of the older threads where there was some weird stuff in the message center display and want to avoid that if possible too. I dont want to go the FM Modulator route if I can avoid it...

Can I get some suggestions or recommendations from those of you that have had any experience (good or bad) with these things?

Go to Best Buy. They sell one for $140 plus $55 for install. You will control it through the Shaker 500, while its hooked up and charging in your center consol. You push the AUX button till it displays SAT2, and it only takes two buttons to control everything.

I did it two weeks ago and I couldnt be happier.

Its called the iSimple. It will say on the box that it only works for 2007-up mustangs , but i assure you it does work. here is the link.

You can have it in either the glove box, or the center console. There is plenty of cord, and its just a $55 instal fee. Also it comes with a laminated half sheet of paper instructions on how to use it with the shaker 500. The only butons you will actually use is the FOLDER button and the NEXT/BACK buttons. I was suprised at how easy it is to navigate to selected songs and playlists.
