Input about Viper 790XV or Clifford Matrix RS 3 Alarm systems

Anyone have one of these? I was thinking about getting the Viper 790XV/Clifford Matrix RS3 for around $400. Any input would be appreciated :P

I install these alarms all the time and I have not had any problems with them-very good alarms(both are the same).I don't know where you live but here in NY they can be picked up for about $250.From an installers point of view I would not get either one of these alarms- I would get the Hornet 554t. It's made by the same company(DEI) and has all the features the viper and clifford have,plus with the hornet you get an extra remote(not a pager) the other ones don't give you that you have to pay extra for one. The hornet is also cheaper in price because with the other 2 you pay more for the name.

Thanks, I really appreciated that input. I will call and find out about the Hornet, if not, I would love to get the viper.. looks like a bad ass alarm. Thanks man.

I've had a Viper Ultra on my car for 10 years without a single problem, just have to change the batteries on the remotes every year or two.

I have the 790 and I like it a little. I wish I had something with a little better range and more push button options. But other then that I like it. I have the remot start as well and I have already spent $400 on fixing the rear end from smashing it into ish while leaving into gear. Good luck though. Joe

haha, sucks :P doesnt the 790 have pretty good range? quarter mile under optimum conditions?
