Im not up on the older models.
If its like the newer ones, the harness/pigtails your seeing are for the radio, for what they called the premium system.
Lights could be a fuse, or bad dimmer.

First i would say, get a Haynes or Chiltons, or Factory manual.
If you dont know where the fuse box is, you need some more learning before diving in hip deep in repairs.

There are several sites, and stuff here that will help with diagrams, heres one that i have book marked, but theres plenty more around

I have enough problems keeping the 87-93 info straight in my head, hehe
I would have to look up the fuses on that model.
If i made a guess it has both. Most boxes are to the left of the steering wheel, or on the passengers side foot well? not sure what to call it.

*just looked it up, its same as mine, under the left side of the dash
This might help too

Hate to say it, but if thats true,
Your down to tracing out wires in order to find the fuse.
If there is no fuse, it will be a bad connection, or ground, or even blown bulbs.
Impossible to say exactly where to look.
If you look at the PDF i gave you.
There is a Tan wire with a white stripe going one way, and a Light blue with a Red stripe going the other way, from the light switch. One 5 amp and one 10amp fuse inline.
You have to follow those wires and see if those fuses are good, before going any farther.
Im sure you shorted out a wire when you were working on the radio.

you have your acc wired to your illumination switch, same with my car. you blew your #6 fuse alsoi most likely. thats your cabin fuse that works your inside lights also. replace that. make sure u have your constant and acc wired correctly this time and you should be good to go
