Question What's the best place for remote signal wire

I have a PPI amp pushing 2 solobarics, lately the AMP started "surging". Whether the stereo is ON or OFF it'll turn on and off by itself, also, when i'm paying a CD the base will come on and off at random, I can see the green led light coming on and off on the amp. I have a Blaupankt MP3 CD payer and a PPI 1 farad cap as well as a JBL amp pushing 2 Quart speaks, 2 Explode speaks and 2 tweeters. I called PPI and they said that it sounds like a bad connection on the remote signal wire. I have that PPI signal wire currently hooked up to my head unit's signal wire, wich also has signal wires for a JBL 4 channel amp and the PPI capacitor attached to itl (the head unit signal wire) as well. So I guess there is not enough curent to keep all 3 devices on. Is there unother place that's good for a signal wire? Could it be something else?
The amp will work for a while and the star "kicking in and out" and the work OK for a while. Thanks.

The remote wire probably just has a bad connection somewhere. If it is just the subs cutting in and out then the coonection at the amp is probably bad. I would get a new remote wire and split it at the amps. Don't have multiple wires going into the jack but only use one wire. Run it to the amps and then have it split from one to 3 and then to the amps. Good luck. Joe

GET A BLOCK FROM FROM AN AUDIO STORE. THIS WILL ALLOW YOU TO RUN 4 WIRES OFF OF 1. BUT I WOULD RUN THE REMOTE DIRECTLY TO THE FUSE BOX ITS SELF. HOOK IT UP TO YOUR ASSESORY SPOT OR AND FUSE THAT IS ON WHEN KEY IS TURNED ON.

This is a good idea if you are always listening to the radio or CD while driving. But when you are not your amps will always be on which sucks. Try to hook it up where the wire is supposed to go or to something that lets it only be on when the stereo is on.

I always buy wiring from www.knukonceptz.com. High quality wire, at great prices. Check them out.
