Default fox body vert dual 10" box help?

Hey, im very into sound systems, and music. I recently bought a fox body vert and im putting some very serious ten inch subs in here. The problem is, I dont know how big the trunk is and i havent had the time to mesure and stuff. ive built boxes before, but those were for mid class subs. Im getting some very top of the line tens to put in, and need some suggestions for building a box.

They are Fi BL series.

"First off we do not recommend using a sealed box for any of the BL or BTL series of woofers

BL 10 – Ported box we recommend using .5-1.2 cubic feet from 30-37Hz tuning with ~15 square inches of vent. (IMO 32hz tuning daily driving is optimal)" -Fi Car Audio

SSA Car Audio Forum -> Fi Car Audio

I will be doing the dual 1 Ohm setup, and they say do NOT used sealed boxes for these subs. They move ALOT of air, youtube "Fi Car Audio" for a few examples of why they say no sealed boxes.

Anyways, im in need of some suggestions and some diagrams/mesuments if somebody is into box building. If you supply me some demensions, then your info will be displayed on the box for some advertising.

This car is going to be a show/track car, and i have a few sponsorships for the car. Thats how im getting the subs, is by sponsorship.

But I gota come up with the box for them. Thanks! Brandon

Go to your local car stereo shop and get a ported prefab box or have them make it. Save the headache.

Bass Box Pro seems to like 1.5 cubic net airspace for a pair of BL 10 dual 2s in a common chambered enclosure (i.e. no wall dividing the subwoofers). You would need to tune your port to 35.53 hz.

I would suggest one 4" aeroport that is 15.6" long or two 3" aeroports that are 18.35 inches long each. Keep in mind when drawing up your enclosure that your subwoofers, any bracing, and ports will take up internal volume, hence the reason I stated NET! A pair of subs seems to occupy .22 cubic feet; a 4" aeroport 15.6" long will occupy about .128 cubic feet; and dual 3" aeroports will occupy .176 cubic feet.

Of course you can slot port it according to Fi's instructions, but, will have to remember to subtract the volume of the port from your enclosure's airspace to arrive at 1.5 cubic feet net.
