When i turn the radio on i get an ear peirceing squeal from the speakers!
I just bought a new head unit and installed it and it does the same thing! I dont understand. Someone help please its really frustrating!

Sounds like you may have an amp/ground problem. Does it squeal with the engine off?

Yes. as soon as i power the radio on with the car on or off. how can i fix it?

Make sure you have good grounds, your amp could also be toast.
Check for any loose wires. Does the squeal come from all of the speakers?

i went and made sure all the plugs were in what seemed to be tight. and it does sound like its coming from all the speakers.
