ok got the head unit installed but now speakers dont work? anyone know the speaker wires colors for a 94 mustang gt. thanks

you need to connect the blue/white (remote power) wire to the amp power, otherwise you won't have any sound from the speakers.

i did the samething. I got mad b.c i installed it all and it still wouldnt work. No sound or anything. Pluged in the blue remote(or if u have the harness adapter they call it the "amp turn-on") and it came right on. Now i just have a short or something somewhere b.c all i get is a squealing sound when i power on the radio. But if u are in need of the colors as u asked just not the amp thing heres a diagram.

left front + orange light green stripe
left front - light blue with a white
right front + white with a lite green
right front - dark green with a orange
left rear + grey with a light blue
left rear - tan with a yellow
right rear + orange with a red
right rear - brown with a pink

some models you must use a metra part 70-5511 or 5512-available at local car audio shop or best buy..depends on if you have mach system or not..if no mach you got other issues..im a car audio tech..so i should be able to help ya..just post if yours is a mach system or not

yea see those colored wires i dont have, i know i have the mach tweeters but all i had was a cassette deck??

do you have ford premium sound system? if so, you need the premium sound harness, not the stock harness. it should have a power harness and a speaker harness (separated)

i dunno i had 2 seperate plugs i guess power and speaker. one was a long rectangle in the middle and the other one was a small square shape (for speakers) on the drivers side of the radio but i used all but the remote wire on the new cd player. and the blue/red , green/black, LT green on the car wires

Here is the diagrams for I believe 94-95 MACH 460 sound system. It matched my 95.

call your local car audio shop and ask for metra part 70-5511 or 5512..i forget which one it is..itys a rectangular plug and a square plug harness for adding aftermarket stereo to mach system..ground both the black with white and the black and make sure you connect the amp turn on to the radios amp turn on wire and your good to go

at best buy, it's the ford premium sound system harness. if you just tell them you have a 94 mustang gt, they'll give you the right one.

GOT IT i had to connect the remote wire on the head unit to the amp trigger on the car!!!!
