[1998GT]

I got a whistler 1780 radar detector and like its on auto quiet and it wont get off of it, i can't even hear it. I know it may sound stupid, my dad called me when i was out running and he was like i can't get it to go back and i was thinking omg, do i have to go all the way home just to change that.. But really, i sreiously can't figure it out.. Harder than i thought it would be.. Anyone have one of these detectors? I need to know soon, plz help me!!! Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

on my beltronics, if you push power and hold it.. it'll scroll through the different modes.. I'm not sure about yours but thats my 2 ¢

I have the same detector as you a Whistler. There is a button on top that you push. I believe its on the right side of the 3, It's your mute button.
