Hey my friend was messing with my non-functional amplifier and she got it to work for roughly 2 seconds, until red and black crossed...poof went my fuse, so we stuck in a 15w, tried it again and poof went my whole deck...uh oh...so now i gotta pull my whole deck to figure out whats wrong...how do you get the deck out of the console? its one of those pioneer mofset 4x50 deals. Do i have to pull off the whole console? if so how do i do it without cracking the plastics? anybody know any good articles on replacing your stereo?

alright..got the plastics off..props to luke for the article..
Now..I found the blown little 10w fuse in the deck and replaced it..but ah! cool...k got the plastics off...stereo out...i also found about 8 or 9 wires that've been cut...ive included a pic of the cut wires...my stereo still isnt turrning on even with the new fuses front and in the amp and 12v line (yes i have 1 fuses for some reason..)
...so anyways..now im stumped..4 hours of work and...nothing...
anybody have a clue what the heck these wires are for and why they're cut? or even why my stereo wont turn on at all?...ive included a pic of the cut wires...the complete set can be found in my gallery thing...
somebody help me out?

Jeez if its not one thing its another.
So i found a blown fuse in my deck, which i thought was the problem. I replaced it, tried it again, and somehow along the way dissabled/shorted out or blew out my clock, speedometer, and temp gauge...on top of all that the thing still doesnt work
anybody have a clue why any of these things could have failed after simply fiddling with a radio?
