Default XM Radio Antenna

hello everyone, i had an audiovox XM radio with the car kit on my first black 2000 mustang and since it was totaled in January, i have been missing the cradle but im gonna finally get around to buying a new one tomorrow. on my black car, the second antenna didnt bother me because it matched but im thinking its gonna look ugly on my blue mustang. so my question is, does anyone know or have head of earthier tyeing in the XM antenna with the FM antenna or a place where i could put the XM antenna and no one would see it but i would still get good reception? Thanks in advance

antenna has to see the sky. Glass is not a big problem unless its got metal in or on it. The car body is though. I have mine on the trunk lid next to the rear glass. Looks ok to me.

o wow, that sucks that it has to see sky. i used to have an XM raido in my bedroom and that antenna didnt have to see sky. maybe their different antennas? and thats a good spot. i was also thinking infront of my stock antenna if it has to have it see sky

most homes don't have a metal roof like a car does.

I use to have mine on the truck lid but I moved it to the dash board. I put it up next to the window towards the center with the wire down the seam and under the dash. Works great.
