Default Mach 460 Issues on 2002 Mustang Convertible

My 2002 has small rips in the convertible top. When it rains, water pools behind the back seat. Shortly after I noticed this problem, the bass went out on my Mach 460. I assume that the amps got wet and now they are ruined. Anyone else experienced this problem? If my assumption is correct, would the Mach 460 amps from a 2002 coupe fit my convertible?

i don't think so but i could be wrong. Sometimes the size or placement on a vert vs coupe is different. Like i know on my vert i have the speakers on the sides of the rear seats whereas the coupes don't have them there

The amps are definitely mounted in a different location, but I would guess Ford would use the same amps.
I cant be certain, but its a fairly safe bet that coupe and convertible amplifiers would be the same.
