I just bought a pair of infinity 6x9s to replace my shaker 500 door speakers. then I noticed the infinitys were 3 3/16th inches deep

I think the doors on the s197 are 3". Does anyone know if these Kappas will fit? If not, they should fit in the rear side panels shouldnt they?

According to Crutchfield they won't fit. But they have been wrong before....

I didnt even realize they have 6x8 in the same store so I will just put those in they are less than 3 inches deep

anyway Best buy wouldnt do the 6x9s anyway, but the kappa 6x8s sound really good I had them put in an alpine HU too.
