Question from speakers cutting out w/bass

Im using a stock Mach 460 audio system.

When I turn the bass up more than ~3 notches and turn the music up at all, the front 2 door speakers (6x8s) both cut out while the others keep playing. Not only does it cut out, but the fronts start poping loudly like power is cutting back in for a split second and getting cuttoff again. The fronts are not blown, and Ive had the 460 deck replaced. Im guessing its the amp...

But heres the kicker, today i tried to play it with the engine off, and the bass played perfect! I turned it all the way up with the bass as high as it would go w/no problem. I had to turn it up gradually not right away, or it would cutt out. Then I started the car and tried the same thing with the engine running, and the speakers cuttout just like before! I repeated this process 3-4 times with same results, it would only play right with the engine off!

where is the problem??!?

Too much bass. Your gonna blow the speakers out if you haven't already. There is a sweet spot that the bass and sound will hit perfectly. You just have to adjust for every song.

i have a similiar situation, its not too much bass, thats wrong. my left side tweeter and sometimes door speaker fuzzes when i start playin a song, if i turn it up high enough, once the bass hits, the speakers "pop" back in and it starts sounding fine again. its really weird, sometimes it goes along w/ my engine rpm (higher pitch fuzzing as rpms go higher). its weird, i am gonna have an audio place check it out when i get my subs hooked up. gl

Do u guys have seperate amps? Or are you just pushing the amp in the Mach deck? The bass is not why it cuts out. Its cutting out becuase of the power. First, check all your connections. Sometimes this will happen if someone has put a screw thru a wire or somehing like that. If nothing is wrong there then get it checked out because I would say that it is probably the internal amp and then youve got to either get it fixed or get a new deck. Your deck should blow your speakers before it cuts out.
