Question 90 Hatchback Audio Install Question

I am going to install a new audio system in my new stang. The old dash kit for the 90 stang that I have just will not do. I want to install the aftermarket CD player with the cubby hole under the radio just like the stock, but can not find a kit that will allow this. Anyone know of a kit for this? Or a good custom kit that I could wip up.

I want to go with speakers in the doors, dash and rear panels, but I can not find the wire harness in the doors for the speakers. Was the Ford factory wiring suppose to be there, or was that wiring only on the models that came with the six speaker option.

One last question, my old 4 cyl. stang's alternator was not stong enough for the amp I had installed and I had to get a bigger one to be able to drive at night without the lights fading when the base hits, will I need to do the same with the stock 5.0 alternator?

My plan is:
- Pioneer CD deck
- Pioneer 3.5" Dash Speakers
- Pioneer 6.5" Door Speakers
- Pioneer 6X9" Rear Speakers
- MTX 10" Subs
- Alpine 4 Channel 500watt Amp Powering the Dash and Subs

Thanks for any help that is provided!

You should be able to get a kit like that from a reliable car stereo shop, at worst Crutchfield. Metra is a name brand that has good fitting kits.

As for the wiring...I would just run my own wire. Its easy.

As for your alternator question, I don't believe a 5.0 liter alternator should have much trouble, if any, powering the stereo that is in your post....unless it is just worn out....a new one should have no trouble.
