Hey gents -

I own a '00 'stang and received a Bazooka EL for xmas and have a few ?s about install.

First off, where's the best place to run wires? particularly through the firewall?

Secondly, I bought the car used - don't have the code for the stereo and I'm afraid that by disconnecting the battery, the stereo will do the usual anti-theft shut-off game. And what good is a bazooka attached to a dead stereo?

Go through the firewall. Look on the driver side there is usually a large bundle of wire going into the cab from the engine compartment. There is a large grommet around said bundle of wires. Go through there.

I wouldn't worry about the headunit locking up. Don't see that if these cars ever.
