Default Can you put door speakers in 1985 lx coupe

I have a 1985 lx coupe with the power locks and windows and premium sound and i was wondering if you could install speakers in the door since mine didnt have any. my car came with the factory amp but i disconnected it and removed it. Its now running with a pioneer head unit, two pioneer 6x9s three way, a box with two tweeters and two 6 inch subs and a sub tube 8 inch. When i got the car it only had the two 3.5s in the dash which were blown and the radio was gone.

Default U can do it!

I use to own an 86 lx. There is no problem putting speakers in the doors. Its been about 8 years ago, but I believe if positoned correctly
you may not even have to do any cutting on metal. Also there are spacers available that will allow you to put as big as a 6.5 in the doors.
I had 5.25 without spacers.
