Default Re: Dynamat whole car?

Has anyone dynamat their entire interior? I'd love to have my 93 convertible dynamated floors, doors, truck, rear side panels. Anyone done this? How much work is it to do all this? Also how much road noise will this reduce and vibration? Dynamat's website makes some impressive claims.

Thanks.

Get ready to add an extra 100+ lbs to your car. Sure it helps but I think it works better if its placed strategically throughout the car.

Thanks for the reply, where is the most important places your are talking about? I was thinking of doing doors and floor. And on the inside of my backseat trim as they are just plastic and then you have and empty space that runs back along to the rear fenders.

I would say large metal areas because they flex and cause vibration noise. I try to overlap seams too. Wheel wells, over the tranny, places like that cause noise.
