Hey guys, I was driving down the street one day and my radar detector just started going crazy (flashing and beeping with no cop or automatic doors around). Its fine when at idle, but the car is under load the detector freaks. I put it in another car and it works fine. So something is wrong with my car. I had a massive arc in a plug wire and I thought that was it, but I replaced all of the wires with MSD superconductors. It still isn't working. I don't know whats wrong. Please help. Thanks in advance for any info.

Sounds like the detector is not getting a constant 12 volts and turning on/off rapidly.

Your going to have to check the lighter socket, it might not be tight enough to hold a good connection.
