Default Help- stock Amplifier connection

I Have a 89 gt conv. Someone stole the alpine out of it. I just got a new one and purchased the adapter to install it. But no sound came out of the speakers. There are 2 plugs in the dash that look like they may go to a stock amplifier. This is where I assume may be my problem.

Do I need them ?
How do I connect them or By-pass them ?
Where is the Stock amplifier ?

Any Guidence would be helpful. I have been trying to get this to work for hours....

Thanks....

the stock amp is under the radio in/ behind the center cosole. its mounted to the hump on the floor. if you already had an aftermarket radio, i cant see why your new radio wont work. i believe you WANT those two plugs to stay disconnected.. have you ever ordered ANYTHING from crutchfield? or have any of your friends/family?
