I got the Sirius installed this summer. I LOVE it. :thumbsup I haven't listened to regular radio since. 65 commercial free music stations, every NFL game (home and away stations). Suppose to get NASCAR in a few years. The only problem (not really a problem) is when I get into a long tunnel or a parking garage I start to lose the signal but I'm sure XM will have the same issue because of line of sight transmissions. Either way both systems will be the way of the future so get one, you won't be sorry.

i have a 2004 gt and i am considering getting sirius for the car. The question is should i get it installed by ford since the mach 460 is set up for it or get the one i can take out and hook up to the my home sterio? Ford wants $400 to install the missing piece.
I work for a Chevy dealer( I know. but a paycheck is a paycheck) XM is okay but I have a Kenewwod system and I am gonna go with Sirius. I just prefer it over XM

What is it that everyone seems to like about Sirius over XM? I don't have either, but I, too, am looking to get something before the end of the year....
I dont know about who owns them. I know Sirius is more versatile. You can take it from your car to desk or wherever if you get that one type they advertise. I dont know other than that.

I install Car Audio, and have for years. There is no "better" it's basically what channels do you want? If you like hip hop sirius has more chanels for that, but rock i believe XM has more. Etc

Looks like I was wrong.....Clear Channel owns a small percentage of XM....for those of you who might care...
Hmmmm, that would explain why they've ruined FM radio. FM used to be as cool
as satellite is today. If anyone out there has Dishnetwork for their TV, they have
about 40 or so Serius music channels on there, but no talk or sports. The Sirius
channels sound alot better than the music channels that Dish had before. FM
almost completely sucks anymore, it has become what AM was when people
abandoned it for FM.
