I want to update the standard radio that came in my '89 Mustang LX Convertible to a AM/FM/CD combo.
I want to keep the Ford thing going so, I want to find a late model Ford unit (eBay?) that will fit.

Any ideas as to which unit WILL work? Will the wiring connector work or is there an adapter available? :?

Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

I understand that certain models of late model Ford am/fm/cd units will fit but you will need a new faceplate and wiring harness. I know Performance Parts Inc has one for sale. I was considering buying it myself for my 89 stang but changed my mind.
