Default 99 460 stereo: how to hookup new amp for subs

well my sis hasd 99 stang with a 460 stereo. i had to go buy this little box and tap into the wiring harness to hook up 2 rca cables. my question is this. what wire do i hook up to amp for the REMOTE wire. The amp wont turn on untill i do this...thnx guys

1990 mustang GT 5.0 all white auto tranny. Pretty much stock for now except flowmaster mufflers. I can't wait to get back and work on my mustang . I miss laying under the car and wrenching, then having my hand slip and smack myself in the face.

You can run that wire to one of the accessory fuses that turns on whenever you turn the ignition to ON or ACC or you can use a low voltage trigger like this one if you can locate the amp trigger or use the speaker output http://www.autotoys.com/x/catalog/FO...ON_p_1383.html

you are talking about the factory radio? im not sure what color the factory wires are. on an aftermarket radio, you could splice into the yellow, blue, or blue/white stripe wires. but you can wire it to the ignition wire if you are having a hard time.
