Keyless entry & PATS key codes reset

If I remove my battery for the winter, will the PATS codes and the keyless entry codes in the '00 GT's computers be affected?

I don't mind waiting for the idle mixtures to come back up to speed, but reprograming the fobs and the keys would be a real pain.

Well went back and spoke with a few techs. They feel that you should not have any problems with
either the key or the fobes.

I am so glad to hear that. It was not gonna be a fun task to winterize and fight the computer codes as well. Thanks!

Now if I could just convince my daughter to store it somewhere else....like an environment outside of the influence of the boyfriend.

Hey I have a 2005 V6 mustang and I am pulling the engine out (along with the engine harness and computer) for a Chevy LS1 from a 04 ZO6.
Does anyone know where the PATS system for my mustang is so that i can re-wire it to the new engine or just remove it?

(P.S. Yes its a chevy engine but its the best of both worlds)
