Default New system help

I tried searching for an answer to my question but I couldn't really find anything. I have an 04 Mustang with the Mach 460 soundsystem and I pretty much just want to bypass everything thats stock in the car. I'm putting in a new head unit, new speakers, a 10' subwoofer with a 5 channel amp. I want to hook up all the speakers to the amp as well and remove the stock amps. I'm going to run all new speaker wire with RCA jacks to the deck but I was wondering where the tweeters in the front and rear come into play. I'm assuming there must be a crossover for them somewhere but if i wanted to run all new wire, where would the crossover be. Or is there a much better way to go about doing this. Thanks.

What type of wiring were you planning on running? New wires for the sub or for all the other speakers? If you have the money to pay for all new stuff it would be a fairly easy install. The only problem with running all speakers through another amp is making sure you have compatible wattage. Plus, you're gonna need a freakin huge amp to push decent power out of all channels to get anything impressive. I'd shoot for at least 1000watts...minimum. You can replace the tweeters on the doors also. But you're gonna need a filter to pull out the low frequencies so your amp doesn't blow the speakers. I'd dynamat the doors and rear deck also, they rattle like hell under any extra wattage.
