Hi all,

First post.

Does anyone know specifially what the differences are between the Shaker 500 and 1000? I'd like to know:

Does the extra 500watts power only the rear sub box?
Does the upgrade to the Shaker 1000 change the wiring harness spec?

My assumption is that all they do is plug in and mount the rear sub box, which is a self contained sub and amp unit. Can someone confirm or deny?

I have the 1000 setup and no its not self contained. There is a rack in your trunk with four amps and the subs are on the side by the fenderwells. You pretty much have no trunk room in my 03 but it may be different on a 05.

I picked up my vert last tuesday. What i did was order another set of door speakers and replaced the rear with then. There is a diifference between the door and rear. Especially at higher volume.
