Default 6 by 9 speakers in rear??????

hey,
i have a 98 mustang gt without the mach 460 system. i looked in the trunk to see what the rear speakers and they were 6 by 8 very seurprising before i take anything apart i was wondering if you could fit 6 by 9 in back???

It will only fit 5X7 / 6X8 speakers but,it can be
cut to fit 6X9 speakers if you wish to do so.

I would just say screw the speaker holes and rather make some wooden boxes or if your good with fiber glass make something to fit the trunk and get some round speakers. round speakers are better for sound quality. thats what i did but im going to make some fiber glass boxes in the front where my kickpanels are for soem six inch speakers.

im no good with fiberglass but my dad is. it sounds expensive though and im on a budget

im not to sure on an exact price but i know it doesnt cost to much.

i took the easy way out and got two mach 460 rear amps off ebay for 30 bucks:thumbsup good deal. and bought some 6/8 keenwoods. the sounds pretty good. last of the interior mods time to save up to gain some extra hp.
