Hey, I'm having some problems with my v6 98 Mustang. We had a cd player in this vehicle before, but then i bought a new truck and decided to move the stereo system out of there and into the new truck i had (head unit and sub-system). Just recently, i tried to put the stereo back into the mustang as i drive it more often now, and the sound is just weird on it. When you try to turn it down all the way, it turns down until about the 4th notch on the LCD, then it stays the same volume, only it just plays the bass, and other things like that. I'm hoping it's just a fuse, but, figured i'd ask some people here who know about this stuff a little more than i do...

so, any suggestions?

It shouldn't be the fuse because then nothing would be playing, although are you sure you hooked it up right? I would guess that when you installed it something didn't get crimped right or wrong wiring. Also, did you have the battery unpluged when you were installing it?
