Is the Shaker 500 sys decent or garbage?

Just ordered a Saleen Conv. Replacing face with Pioneer d1 NAV. Do I need to replace the speakers in the car too? Are the good?

What are the actual speaker sizes? 6x8's in the front (2 or 3 ways)? Or 5 1/4s? (w or w/o components?

Also, does the sys come with a sub? If so is it powered from the dash?

Its only about $500 to add good speakers and an amp. Should I do it?

I'm doing the same thing, replacing with the Pioneer Nav Double DIN unit.

I have played with the speakers attached to the current system, waiting on some parts to put it in. Going to attempt to do it myself.

The speakers sound good, don't know if I'll upgrade them or not. At the moment I'm not hating them.

I have that in my 05 GT and its ok , no sub with it in Canada to have the sub & amp I think it like 1200.00 more but ine can get after maket for less. As for me the only things that I may change over are the speakers for a better quality, its good but can be way cleaner ! Ed
